Merino Wool Duvet

Made for all year round natural comfort, both our lighter and warmer organic duvets are made by hand and filled with carded Merino sheep’s wool which is encased in 100% organic cotton. These materials have been specially selected to help regulate your temperature, allowing for a restful night’s sleep.

DETAILS

• Our lighter organic duvet is filled with 200g per square meter (or 6oz/sq yard) of carded Merino sheep’s wool. Whilst merino wool duvets are not tog-rated, for the purpose of comparison we would compare the lighter duvet to a 4-6 tog weighting.
• Our warmer organic duvet is filled with 350g per square meter (or 10oz/sq yard) of carded Merino sheep’s wool. This would be compared to a 8-10 tog duvet.
• Naturally hypoallergenic
• Functional corner loops that allow the duvet to be easily attached to the inside of our linen duvet covers to prevent slipping

Air your bedding before use to reduce the natural scent of lanolin within the wool. To keep your bedding clean and fresh, hang it outside in the sunshine at the start of each season. The sun helps sterilise the wool and wick away any trapped moisture. Do not put your wool bedding in the washing machine.

Our wool duvets are made slightly larger to allow the natural fibres to settle over time. As the wool gently responds to your body’s warmth, it will contract slightly, so while the product may seem oversized at first, it will naturally adjust to its true size after a few weeks of use – ensuring a perfect fit and lasting comfort.
